The time in California.

It's a wet Saturday night, it is 10pm in England. If I have converted it right, it is 2pm in California. Good time to ring my father's step-daughter isn't it?
How dare she presume that she has more right to the man than I do??? She had her share when she was younger, she knew my father. He liked her and she liked him. That's good. I have no problem with that. But if he was good to her, couldn't she be like him and show a little charity?

I get so angry at times, I only want a bit of him. Just a few of their memories. Not a lot to ask is it?

I am still in the part where I think I don't blame them for not getting back in touch.
My sister and I and other friends I have told, well we think that if the boot was on the other foot, we would be thrilled. We all agree that we would give the person a chance.
Never mind dear lady in California, you are safe, I ain't gonna ring.
Rot yer socks flower!

Me Again!

On Saint David's Day, (Patron Saint of Wales,) I will be 62. I wonder if it is really potty of me to carry on with my, so called search?
I was born in Wales so I feel a kind of infinity with it, so Happy St. David's Day to all the people in Wales.  Wednesday, 1st March.

Ok, only spent about 6 weeks there after I was born, but my birth certificate is in English and Welsh.

A few years ago now, my sister took me to Merthyr Tidfil where I was born. What a lovely day we had. I had never been there before, (not counting my first weeks on this earth.) The people were lovely and really helpful. I always wanted to go and see what it was like.

We saw the place where I was born. Took pictures. Sadly, I cannot find them. They have either been thrown out by mistake or they are WELL hidden in the house.

The history of St. Tidfil's was really amazing. Seems the ward I would have been born on is now the doctors' quarters.

We met a lovely lady, she showed us pictures of long ago. One photo was of the Midwives that worked there in 1944. Maybe one delivered me! Not often you can find these things out is it?
Thank you Anne and John.
