Outlived them!
Got to the grand old age of 62 today. That means, I have outlived my mother and fathers'. Didn't think I would. My "real" father died of a heart attack, in his 50's I think, so did my dad, he was about my age though. Mum died about 48 years old.
Very strange to think you are older than your parents when you last spoke to them.
I know I have never spoken and never will, to "real" father. Quite sad really. I do wish my half-brother would ring me. As the old saying goes, "If wishes were horses, beggars would ride." I won't ride, just walk.
